The mother of humanity's remains, inside Kadomony.

The core that was detached from Zohar, the 'Biological Computer Kadomony' crashed onto this primitive planet. It activated Persona, its life support plant, that can generate organic material. Using this it would be resurrected. Thus, the first humans were created from there... Emperor Cain and the elders of the Gazel Ministry.

Kadomony is a biological supercomputer developed by the Milky Way Federation to manage the Deus System. Located in the Zohar's eye, it is one of three parts that the Deus Syste, requires in order to fully function.

Its ability to create lifeforms is what formed the foundations of humanity on the planet.[1]

In T.C. 4766, long before the events of Xenogears, an intense interstellar war necessitated the need for a weapon capable of stopping it: the Deus System.[2][3] As one of three parts to this system, Kadomony's role was to independently control the Zohar, which served as the entire system's energy source, as well as exert control over Deus, an otherwise independent, self-healing, shapeshifting organism that served as the weapon.[4]

While Kadomony was constructed to be installed directly into the Zohar's eye, and was assumed to be made of the same material[1], its inner workings, having been produced by an "over-technology"[5], were not understood by humanity at that time.[4]

In 4767, three months after the Zohar was made Deus' main power source, a series of top-secret tests were conducted on Miktam04β to test the connection between Zohar and Deus, which resulted in the Wave Existence becoming trapped within the Zohar.

Kadomony creates Elhaym.

Wanting to escape its prison, the Wave Existence made contact with a young boy named Abel. In the process, Abel passed on a 'mother's will' to the Wave Existence, which is then incarnated through Kadomony, which became the the original version of Elhaym, as well as an embodiment of the Persona, Kadomony's central element.[6][7][1]

At some point after this, Deus went out of control and invaded the nearby colony, resulting in innumerable causalities before the military intervened and managed to stop it.[2] All three core components (Kadamony, Zohar, and Deus) were individually disassembled, sealed off from one another, and then loaded aboard the Eldridge, which would transport them, as well as the survivors, to another planet for investigation.[1]

Kadonomy shifts to Deus Control Mode.

Later, during the transfer, Deus managed to activate itself. After this, Kadomony shifted into Deus Control Mode[8] and accesses Razael, the Eldridge's mainframe.[6][9] After all venues of stopping Deus were exhausted, the captain initiated the ship's self-destruct system as a last effort, and the Eldridge exploded over an uncharted life-sustaining planet.[6]

Kadomony itself survived when it separated from the Zohar's eye during its fall into the ocean. Despite a successful landing on a section of coastline, a section of its essential parts, the Anima Relics, were scattered across the globe.[10]

With the activation of System HAWWA, Elhaym was transformed into the mother of humanity, also called 'Original Myyah'. Stepping from Kadomony, she began the first steps to resurrect Deus.[11][12]

KadoEnd

Kadomony in the ending.

The biological portion of Kadomony's interior is sectioned into three parts: the Persona, Anima and Animus.

The Anima refers to the Anima Relics, which were scattered across the world from the Eldridge crash.[10]

The Animus was used by the Mother of Humanity to create the first humans, the first being the twelve members of the Gazel Ministry, who were charged with looking for the Anima Relics, as well as Cain, who was charged as their leader. They would go on to mass-produce more humans using Kadomony.

The Persona is tied into the creation of the original Elehayym, and is why, on the Day of Resurrection, Elly is fated to awaken as the last incarnation of Myyah and merge with Deus, completing Deus's resurrected form.

Etymology[]

Kadomony is a misspelling of Kadmoni, a reference to Ha'Adam HaKadmoni, with Kadmoni meaning "Primordial".

Adam Kadmon means "Primal Man".
