Gaignun's Private Beach is a location on the Kukai Foundation. It can be visited in Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht.

After the group arrives at the Kukai Foundation, at Gaignun's suggestion, Jr. invites them to the beach. Allen, chaos, Jr., and MOMO play volleyball while Shion rests on a lounger, evaluating KOS-MOS' data from her conversation with MOMO back onboard the Durandal for any emotional activity.
Allen encourages Shion to set her work down for a while and enjoy the beach. Allen, MOMO, and Shion discuss KOS-MOS' unknown programming aspects (black box), and then discuss rumors of how Gaignun and Jr. are related. Jr. overhears this and interrupts the conversation; Allen changes the topic to the beach itself, which Jr. explains is the latest product they've developed.
Jr. demonstrates how the beach's weather can be adjusted with a remote control, but the thunder triggers a panic attack in Shion, who is reminded of the night KOS-MOS killed Kevin. Everyone expresses concern for her well-being, and the scene fades out.
Sidequests[]
A customer in the Iron Man bar tearfully requests help retrieving the Engagement Ring she dropped on another beach, which was taken by a fish to Gaignun's private beach. After obtaining the Fish Detector from the pocket of a tuxedo at Lavare cleaners, it is possible to walk further into the water and eventually catch the Big Fish that swam off with the engagement ring. The reward for completing this task is Decoder 8.
