Lahan Village
Lahan Village (ラハン村, rahan mura) was a small hamlet located in the eastern part of Ignas, beyond the Blackmoon Forest. Citan Uzuki lives on a hill to the north. It was home to Fei Fong Wong for three years.
History[]
Three years ago, a masked man dropped off Fei's unconscious body into the care of Chief Lee.
Since then, Fei, despite having no memory of his past, integrated well into village life as a painter. He became friends with Timothy and Alice, and was popular with children, including Dan.
Xenogears[]
With the marriage of Fei's friends Timothy and Alice set to happen the next day, Fei goes to Citan Uzuki for supplies. On Fei's way back with Citan in tow, he sees Gears flying towards the village.

As Gebler and Kislev Gears begin trading fire in Lahan, the town is quickly turned into a war zone. Fei and Citan run in to find Timothy and Alice looking for Dan. After Citan and Fei assure the couple that they will look for Dan and any other villagers who haven't evacuated, Timothy and Alice reluctantly leave.
Fei discovers an abandoned Gear and uses it to try to defend the village, despite Citan's warnings. After a battle against some Gears, Fei sees Timothy running back into the village. As a dark Gear signals the Gears to shoot, Timothy is fatally shot in front of Fei.
Witnessing this traumatic event from his Gear and being helpless to stop it, Fei is overwhelmed and transforms into Id. In a bright light, the village is completely incinerated, killing many villagers including Alice. The only survivors are the villagers that had already evacuated, including Dan and Citan.
After Fei comes to his senses, the surviving villagers agree that Fei should be exiled from the village, for their own safety.
Trivia[]
- There is a cameo appearance of Lucca from Chrono Trigger in one of the buildings, where she explains how save points work. This is a nod to several staff being involved in the making of Chrono Trigger.
